Level 3 Comprehensive Assessment

Personalized Consultation & Tailored Biomarker Assessment

The Level 3 Assessment is designed for patients with complex health needs. Instead of starting with a set lab panel, Level 3 begins with an in-depth consultation to build your complete health timeline and medical history. From there, we order a fully customized set of labs and/or specialty testing based on your unique situation.

This approach is ideal for patients with chronic conditions, unresolved symptoms, or extensive medication lists who need a highly individualized starting point. By piecing together your history first, we can uncover patterns and root causes that guide the most appropriate testing and care plan.

At MyHealth1st, we believe great healthcare is proactive and holistic. We don’t settle for “normal,” because what’s considered normal in today’s world is often far from healthy. Our goal is to help you achieve optimal health, not just avoid disease.

While hormone optimization (BHRT) is not required, many patients in the 40+ age group ultimately benefit from it. For those who are candidates, BHRT management can be added on to this workup for comprehensive care, with package savings available.

FAQs

When health issues are complex, it’s important to first understand your history and patterns. This ensures that the right labs are ordered and testing is personalized to your needs.

As Dr. Young often explains, when patients come in for a Level 2 and their labs reveal a more complicated picture, the visit itself doesn’t allow enough time for a thorough history or timeline review. Without that deeper exploration, it’s harder to uncover the “bigger whys” or decide what additional testing might be most meaningful.

That’s why we recommend Level 2 for patients who are already in a relatively stable state of health, and Level 3 as the starting point for those who would be best served by a provider taking the time to fully understand their story before building a personalized assessment.

Level 3 is best for patients with multiple or chronic health concerns, complicated medication lists, or long-standing symptoms. Patients in relatively good health looking for a preventive deep dive may be better suited to Level 2.

Yes. If you are a candidate, hormone optimization can be integrated into your personalized care plan after your initial consultation and lab review.

Levels 1 and 2 begin with predetermined panels. Level 3 is fully customized, starting with your story and tailoring labs and care around your unique health journey.

We don’t stop at “normal.” Our providers interpret labs through the lens of optimal health—not just whether you fall into a population average. You can learn more in our article Beyond Normal: Understanding Your Lab Results.

All consultations and procedures are cash-pay. At check-out, we’ll provide you with an insurance invoice (including CPT and diagnosis codes) that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

  • Many patients are reimbursed for the consultation portion of their visits.
  • Pellet therapy is generally not covered by most health plans.
    • Some plans may reimburse for pellets after an appeal and a letter of medical necessity, which our office can assist with.
  • Labs ordered through LabCorp can often be filed through insurance or paid at our clinic’s discounted cash rate.
