Common questions

Before you begin

Our team can help you choose the right starting point and explain which parts of your care can happen remotely.

Does MyHealth1st offer telemedicine?

Yes. We offer visits by phone and Zoom when a physical examination or in-office procedure is not required. Telemedicine may be used to discuss concerns, review laboratory results, monitor progress, and manage many ongoing care plans.

Can I receive all of my care from home?

It depends on your needs. Many conversations and follow-up visits can take place remotely, but some evaluations, examinations, treatments, and procedures require an appointment at our Winston-Salem office.

Where will I complete laboratory testing?

Most routine testing is ordered through Labcorp. Patients can often visit a Labcorp patient service center near home. Certain specialized tests may require a different laboratory or collection process, and not every Labcorp location offers every service.

Can you provide telemedicine if I live outside North Carolina?

Possibly. Telemedicine availability depends on where you are physically located during the appointment, your provider's licensing, and the type of care you need. Contact our team so we can confirm your options before scheduling.

How do I know whether to schedule an office or telemedicine visit?

You do not need to decide alone. Tell our team what you want to address, and we will help determine whether a phone, Zoom, or in-person appointment is the most appropriate starting point.

Does MyHealth1st have offices in Greensboro or High Point?

Our office is located in Winston-Salem. We regularly welcome patients who travel from Greensboro, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, Asheboro, and other Piedmont communities.
