Team Spotlight: Meet D’Asia Johnson, RMA

We’re excited to highlight one of the newest members of our team at MyHealth1st — D’Asia Johnson, Registered Medical Assistant, who joined us in January.

D’Asia plays an essential role in supporting both our providers and patients, working closely alongside Amelia Carnohan, FNP-BC and Carlton DeHart, RN to ensure each visit runs smoothly and efficiently. From assisting during appointments to performing vital signs, drawing labs, and preparing exam rooms, she helps create a seamless and organized experience for every patient.

D’Asia completed her Medical Assisting training at ECPI University, where she built a strong foundation in clinical skills and patient care. She holds her Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential, is CPR certified, and has specialized training in phlebotomy, allowing her to provide hands-on clinical support with confidence and precision.

What makes D’Asia such a valuable part of our team is her natural ability to put patients at ease. She understands that healthcare can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she brings a calm, reassuring presence to every interaction—helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported throughout their visit.

Her attention to detail, strong sense of structure, and genuine care for others align seamlessly with MyHealth1st’s commitment to a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.
